Britten rehearsal/DVD viewing changes
A new DVD has been burned and will arrive tomorrow morning. Opera Workshop folks, we'll meet during class and watch the rest of the DVD. As soon as we're done, we'll start a speak-through of the Britten and go until 5:15. Britten folks that are not in Opera Workshop this semester, please arrive around 4:30 but please be flexible regarding time. Rehearsal on Friday will be as planned. CDs are available IF you ask me in advance!

As a reply to the possibility of a musical in the fall, Mark and I have come up with several shows that would accommodate both the Music and Theater departments. In no particular order:
Sweeney Todd
The Producers
Pippin
Children of Eden
The Secret Garden
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Into the Woods would work vocally, but the cast is small, and that would be leaving a lot to chance with casting.
