Dear Students: Happy Memorial Day weekend. Please be safe this weekend...there are tons of people on the road. Even during the summer, I think about you and worry about you. Be safe as you officially kick off summer and know that you are loved. And don't text as you drive!!!

Join us for Beethoven's Symphony no. 9 and the Choral Fantasy at the Alys Stephens Center at 8pm. Great music with a fantastic group of musicians!

Opera and choir party canceled

Darlings, I think Ryan's right: let's just cancel. Not seeing much interest, it's the end of the semester, and we're whipped! See you in August...have a GREAT summer and know that you're loved.

Jury sheets are ready

Thank you for your singing yesterday, folks. Jury sheets are ready: email me to schedule a time to talk through them. I won't be on campus regularly so dropping by and hoping I'll be there won't work! :-) See you soon.

Opera and Choir party!

It's official--at least, unless someone comes up with something better! Our Opera & Choir party will be Friday, May 6 at NOON at Oak Mountain State Park. We'll have a BBQ, bring the kayaks, and have some fun in the sun. Sign-ups for food coming soon.

Opera Banquet?

We talked once upon a time about having an opera banquet at the end of the year. Is there still interest in this? We could use the Episcopal House (if the offer is still open, Will and Charles) or have another day at Oak Mountain State Park. Thoughts? Suggestions? Post them here. I've also created a FB page for this.
